Some great Champagne from Louis Roederer. While stocks last.

2012 Louis Roederer Brut Rose. 2,800

2012 was a great year in Champagne. A rich year with low yields and a perfectly warm summer. The 2012 Rose offers up pretty aromas of apples, freshly baked bread and tangerines. On the palate its medium to full bodied with a generous core of succulent fruit, ripe acids and a precise elegantly chalky finish. It's an elegant, textured rose, balanced and rich.
Match with brie, prosciutto, smoked salmon or chocolate.

2011 Louis Roederer, Blanc de Blanc. 2,990.

Using Chardonnay grapes from only 4 plots in the Grand Cru of Avize in the Cotes des Blancs. Bottle aged for 5 years then left to rest for a further 8 months after disgorging to attain the perfect maturity.
The nose is discreet and delicate, the most prominent notes being of orchard fruits such as apple and pear. The well balanced palate is textured and mineral driven. A perfect match with oysters, summer salads or prawns or langoustines.
